My Rescuer - Poetry

My Rescuer

Thank you God because you always have my back.

When I think I am on the floor I'm sitting on your lap

You hold me tight. 

You dont let go. 

You guide me through the storms.

You are shining Light, My protector for evermore.

When I think I am hopeless, you let me see it clearly.

How you were always there for me and I just lived with fear in me.

I had to let it go.

Let go of all my fears.

I had to trust in you completely because you are always near.

You never let me down.

You fill my heart with Peace.

When I saw tainted spots of black you placed a Crown on me.

I know I'm not alone because you're my best friend.

My Father and my Savior. You're the only one that understands.

You saved my life from death and brought me out of the darkness. That's why I give my all to you. 

I can never repay your kindness.

 

Thank you my Great Defender for all you've done for me.

I cannot wait until we meet and l bow down before thee and hear those precious words of gold, you'll say to me. 

"Well done my faithful servant."  And then forever I will dwell with you for all eternity.
